What is Surya Saheli?
Surya Saheli is a community-led initiative focused on promoting renewable energy while empowering women through technical skill development. The programme trains local women in solar technology, enabling them to install, maintain, and promote solar energy systems within their own communities.
After successfully completing around six months of intensive training, these women proudly earn the title of Solar Didi, becoming champions of clean energy and sustainable rural development.
